Preamble

The Department of English Language and Literature (DELL) Alumni Association of Premier University Chattogram (PUC), DAAP was conceived out of a shared vision to foster lifelong connections among graduates, uphold academic excellence, and contribute to the growth of the department and its current students. Recognizing the need for a structured platform to unite alumni, faculty, and students, a group of enthusiastic graduates initiated the formation of this association to strengthen professional networks, facilitate mentorship, and promote the legacy of DELL.

Founding Principles

The DELL Alumni Association was established with the following objectives:

1. Networking & Collaboration – To create a vibrant community where alumni can connect professionally and socially.
2. Academic & Career Support – To provide mentorship, career guidance, and resources for current students and recent graduates.
3. Departmental Development – To support DELL in academic initiatives, research, and infrastructural advancements.
4. Cultural & Literary Engagement – To organize seminars, workshops, and literary events that enrich the intellectual and creative pursuits of members.
5. Philanthropy & Outreach – To contribute scholarships, awards, and community service initiatives benefiting students and society.

Inauguration & Growth

The association was officially inaugurated in 2017, with the endorsement of the Department of English and Premier University authorities. Founding members included distinguished alumni, faculty representatives, and industry professionals who laid the foundation for its constitution and governance.

Since its inception, the DELL Alumni Association has grown into a dynamic body, hosting reunions, career fairs, and literary festivals while maintaining strong ties with the university. It stands as a testament to the enduring bond among DELL graduates and their commitment to excellence in English studies.

Vision for the Future

The association aspires to expand its global reach, enhance digital engagement, and continue its role as a bridge between past and present students, ensuring that the legacy of DELL, Premier University Chattogram, thrives for generations to come.
