About

I am an Associate Professor in English Language and Literature, deeply committed to the fields of TESOL, Critical Pedagogy, and Inclusion in Education. My academic journey has been driven by a passion for fostering equitable and accessible learning environments, ensuring that education serves as a tool for empowerment for all learners.

Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in TESOL from Far Western University, Nepal, where my research focuses on "Inclusion in English Language Teacher Education". Prior to that, I have completed an MPhil leading to Ph.D. in the same field. My foundational studies in English Language and Literature were at the University of Chittagong, Chattogram, from where I earned both my M.A. and B.A. in English Language and Literature. My second alma mater is BRAC University, Dhaka, from where I have achieved a second MA in TESOL.

My areas of interest include Inclusion in Education, Critical Pedagogy, and Disability Studies. I strongly believe in the power of education to break barriers and to create a more just and inclusive society. Through my teaching, research, and academic engagements, I strive to contribute to meaningful discourse and transformative educational practices that prioritize diversity, accessibility, and student-centered learning.
