About

I am an Assistant Professor of English, with a strong academic background and a deep passion for research in Feminism and Diaspora Studies. My academic journey has been shaped by a commitment to exploring the intersections of gender, identity, and migration within literary and cultural contexts.

I earned my second M.A. in English from North Dakota State University, USA, in 2021, where I expanded my perspectives on global literary discourses and contemporary critical theories. Prior to that, I completed my M.A. (2009) and B.A. (2007) in English from Dhaka University, Dhaka, which provided me with a strong foundation in literary analysis, language studies, and critical inquiry.

My research interests lie in Feminism and Diaspora Studies, where I explore themes of displacement, identity formation, and gender dynamics in literature and society. As an educator, I strive to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and cross-cultural discussions. Through my teaching and research, I aim to contribute to broader conversations on literature, gender, and migration in both academic and public spheres
